Funny Animal Fiction

NOTICE: This should not be mistaken to be a Comedic genre. In some age past these characters where seen as humorous to many but can now exist without humor. Perhaps a distinction will latter be made to divide this genre into more focused categories.

A funny animal is an anthropomorphic animal character who lives like a human. Funny animals typically are bipedal, wear clothes, live in houses, drive vehicles, and have jobs, which distinguish them from other animal characters who may nonetheless display anthropomorphic characteristics such as speaking or showing facial expressions. Over the years the lines between 'Funny Animal' and 'Talking Animal' have frequently been blurred (such as with Brian from Family Guy) though both are considered animal characters.
