Steampunk

Steampunk is a subgenre of Science Fiction inspired by how one might have retrospectively envisioned future innovations during the Victorian Era. Steampunk makes use of steam powered machinery, and often takes place in an industrialized western civilization in the 19th century or early 20th Century (up to the 1910s). Steampunk story plots may draw on Post Apocalyptic themes, Horror, Fantasy, or Historical Fiction.
