Max & Me (in spanish only as Max) is a 2023 mexican religious biographic-historical drama animated movie produced by Dos Corazones Films (the same persons who brought us The Greatest Miracle) in association with Imagica and Imagination Films and is directed by Donovan Cook.

Plot[]

A grumpy old man mentors a rebellious and love lorn teenager telling about Polish priest Maxamillian Kolbe. Kolbe's faith and compassion ultimately lead him to sacrifice his life for another in the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz.

Production[]

The story, original idea and central development were realised by Dos Corazones Films and New Land Films (who previously worked in Treasure Hunters and For Greater Glory).

Animation was provided by IMAGICA (located in Mexico City and previously they worked on the The Greatest Miracle development) and Imagination Films (located in Quéretaro, responsible for films such as Z-Baw and K9 World Cup).

While the character development was carried out by Lighstream Animation.

Music[]

The ost will be composed by Mark McKenzie (who also made the The Greatest Miracle ost).

Release[]

The film will be released on October 12.
